A must see and visit is the famous Church of Santa Maria di Casalpiano and the archaeological area of Casalpiano, where the remains of a Roman villa of the imperial period were discovered, residence of Rectina, friend of Pliny the Elder and saved by them in 79 d.c. from the eruption of Vesuvius to Pompeii.
